Chiropractic is a hands-on approach to assessment and treatment of the moving parts of the body. While most people associate chiropractic with manual adjustments of the bones of the spine, it encompasses much more than this. Chiropractic also relates to joints of the limbs, muscles, other soft tissue like fascia, and nerves as it relates to these other structures.
Injuries such as lifting and twisting or overuse injuries can be common reasons patients come see us for help, but we also work with patients on how they use their body. Abnormal usage of the body and poor ergonomics can also lead to pain and we also help patients with these root issues.
Treatment can vary significantly for each patient and may include adjustments by hand from light to firm force, tool based adjustments, home stretches or exercises, correcting of sleep, sit, lift or work biomechanics, or recommendations may include modalities like massage therapy, muscle strengthening rehab, Class 4 Laser or Shockwave therapy.
