Class IV Deep-Tissue Laser Therapy

Advanced Chiropractic in Albany, Oregon utilizes LiteCure's LightForce EX Class IV Deep-Tissue Therapy Laser as a potent way to help patients with pain and injuries.

.

Our deep-tissue laser therapy can be a very effective and non-invasive technique to address damaged tissue, pain, and/or inflammation. It can also assist in reduction of healing time for chronic or acute conditions. While this is still a newer technology, Class IV lasers like ours were first
approved by the FDA in 2003 as a method to treat a variety of acute and chronic injuries.

We use our laser is used to treat the following conditions:

  • Sciatica
  • Low Back Pain
  • Disc Issues
  • Arithic pain
  • Sports Injuries
  • Sprains & Strains
  • Neck Pain
  • Old injuries that didn't heal well
  • Tendonitis Conditions
  • Foot & Ankle Conditions
  • Shoulder & Knee Injuries
  • And Many More Conditions

While Class IIIa/b lasers (next highest class) can provide some patients with a therapeutic benefit, there is a large disparity in the amount of
photons (therapeutic dose) delivered. A Class IIIb laser is defined as below 0.5watt. Our laser is 15 watts. That means our laser gets the jobdone 30 times as fast as the most powerful Class IIIb laser. Our treatments last approximately 4-10 minutes. For a Class IIIb laser to do the same
dosage as ours, it would take 120-300 minutes! This is not practical, especially when multiple treatments for a plan are taken into consideration!

Our laser is a safe and non-invasive way to help with many types of pain in the moving parts of the body. While some conditions are too painful to have any type of pressure put into them, our laser has different treatment heads for either a massaging feature, light pressure contact feature, or no contact feature. We cannot use the laser over an area with a pace-maker or plastic / electric implant, active infection, or active cancer.

Patients in this office have seen considerable response to our Class IV laser! Here are some reviews written by patients:
